About the opportunity

At Australia Post, we're transforming how we deliver change across one of Australia's most complex and diverse organisations. We're looking for a Manager, Project Management Frameworks (PMF), Methods & Standards to lead the evolution of our enterprise project delivery capability, shaping the frameworks, methodologies, governance and assurance practices that underpin successful delivery across our portfolio. Working with senior leaders and delivery teams across the business, you'll drive consistency, uplift delivery maturity, and ensure our project, program and portfolio practices remain contemporary, scalable and aligned to Australia Post's strategic priorities.

What you’ll deliver with us

Commercial & Strategic Priorities

Own and continuously evolve the Australia Post Project & Program Delivery Framework, associated methodologies, standards, governance processes and tooling ecosystem.
Develop and execute a multi-year roadmap to uplift enterprise project, program and portfolio management capability.
Establish and maintain delivery standards, quality frameworks and assurance practices to ensure consistent application across the enterprise.
Act as the enterprise subject matter expert and trusted advisor on project delivery methodologies including Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall and emerging delivery practices.
Provide thought leadership and recommendations to senior stakeholders on future delivery ways of working, governance models and capability improvement opportunities.
Drive continuous improvement through structured release management and adoption of lessons learned from enterprise initiatives.
Support delivery community engagement activities, including Communities of Practice, knowledge sharing forums and capability development initiatives
Monitor external market trends and industry best practices to ensure Australia Post maintains contemporary delivery approaches.
Financial

Define enterprise standards for project, program and portfolio financial governance.
Establish methodologies and reporting standards for investment performance, forecasting and benefits realisation.
Provide strategic input into portfolio performance measurement, benefits tracking and investment governance practices.
Identify opportunities for improved delivery efficiency and optimisation through standardisation and simplification of delivery processes.
About you

You're passionate about helping organisations deliver change better and creating the foundations that enable teams to succeed. You understand that great project delivery starts with clear frameworks, practical governance and ways of working that people can easily adopt. Drawing on your experience shaping and embedding project, program and portfolio management standards in complex environments, you enjoy partnering with leaders and delivery teams to drive consistency, continuous improvement and stronger delivery outcomes. Whether you're evolving governance practices, uplifting delivery capability or enhancing the use of our Project Portfolio Management (PPM) platform, Shibumi, you're able to balance strategic thinking with a pragmatic, people-focused approach.

Your expertise spans contemporary delivery methodologies such as Waterfall, SDLC, Agile, Lean and Scrum, complemented by relevant certifications and experience leveraging modern project and portfolio management tools to improve visibility, decision-making and delivery performance across the enterprise.
