Veterinary Receptionist Sydney Animal Hospitals location Sydney. $30 – $30 per hour.

Sydney Animal Hospitals in Bella Vista is looking for a designated Customer Relations Manager / Receptionist who prides themselves on exceptional patient care and customer service to join our fantastic team.

We are looking for an industry experienced receptionist to support the team at the Hospital. You will be the forefront of our hospital giving every client and pet your full attention. We want every client and pet to have a positive experience when visiting our hospital. You must be a good communicator with a warm and friendly phone manner.

You will need to be highly motivated and strong organisation skills, able to multitask with a smile. This position is suited to a Vet Nurse who prefers customer service reception over nursing. This is a full time position or can be job shared between two people. Your working week will include 1 Saturday a fortnight if shared.

Job description ensure the reception and consulting rooms are fully stocked, clean and tidy at all times. Manage the customer service requirements of the business. Attend to emails and phone messages in a timely manner. Answer phone enquiries and booking appointments, Receipting clients. Manage the booking schedule for each day.

About Us Sydney Animal Hospitals Norwest is a family owned, non-corporate practice. This hospital is purpose built located 30-45 minutes from CBD.  With the Sydney Metro located at our doorstep, public transport is an easy alternative or we have free parking available as well. Our large modern practice has a high standard of care and a very good client base.

Our team consists of 8 dedicated vets, 8 experienced nurses a designated receptionist and 4 enthusiastic animal attendants. Our director attends the hospital twice a week to perform orthopaedic surgeries and assist with any other complexed surgeries.

Our Head Nurse is very personable. Her kind and calming nature brings a strong bond between the nursing team.

Busy days are handled in a productive manner with all the team pitching in and covering the workload where needed. A laugh and friendly chatter are often heard around the hospital. We recently introduced an experienced vet nurse who works remotely.  Her main objective is to answer the overflow of inbound and out bound calls which allows nursing staff to concentrate on patient care. We encourage our team to continue to grow and improve their skills by supporting continuing education. You will always find a supply of treats / nibblies to keep your energy levels high and lunch is provided on a regular basis.
