Veterinary Receptionist or Administrator Eye Clinic for Animals location Sydney. $28 per hour.

Eye Clinic for Animals is a specialist Veterinary Ophthalmology practice providing the highest professional level of care for our patients.

ECA has an experience team of 5 ophthalmologists, 2 registrars and 2 residents, backed by our highly skilled nurses and admin who go above and beyond for our patients. We have two primary locations and travel across NSW and ACT to provide Ophthalmic care to patients in rural areas.

The Eye Clinic for Animals is a growing practice with a strong focus on work/life balance, a pro-mental health workspace and creating a positive and fun working environment. We are looking for a Full-Time receptionist for this busy and varied role to join our amazing team.

Work location would primarily be at our Artarmon location, but some shifts would also be at our second location in Yagoona. A willingness and flexibility to shift between the 2 locations as required will be needed in this role! The position is 5 days a week, weekdays only, No weekends ever. Shift hours would rotate between 8am - 4pm, 9am - 5pm or 10am - 6pm.

Duties will include but not be limited to providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their pets. Answering phones. Scheduling appointments at both our Yagoona/Artarmon practice and trips across NSW/ACT. Liaising with referring vets. Processing of accounts. Managing our business email inbox. Data Entry using Ezyvet software (Experience with Ezyvet highly regarded).

The ideal candidate will possess the following positive and upbeat demeanour with a willingness to learn. Great personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Fantastic phone manner. A love of all animals big and small. The ability to work autonomously and time management skills. 1 year of vet/medical reception experience within a busy hospital setting. Be computer literate. Previous experience in animal/specialist field will be highly regarded.

Remuneration pay grade is $28 per hour, with room for growth in future.

Essential criteria minimum of 1 year of reception support in a busy Emergency or Referral Hospital setting.
