Office Administrator Citizens Advice Bureau Wellsford location Auckland.
The role is based at the Wellsford Bureau and the successful candidate will work primarily from the Bureau for 20 hours per week – 4 days of 4 hours per day at the Bureau, 1 day flexibility to work from home. The successful candidate will be an experienced Administrator who is bright, energetic and personable, showing great empathy and understanding of the needs of others. Forging strong links with community groups is a key component of the role.
Leading a team of volunteers the Administrator is responsible with the Board for ensuring the volunteers have all the necessary skills to meet with the public and to offer help and advice. For this to be successful the continuous training and upgrading of skills is essential. We are looking for a free thinking individual who has the capability of continually assessing the success of the Bureau. Essential qualities we are looking for are integrity, confidentiality, analysis, structured and capable of managing a varied work load effectively to meet deadlines.
The Administrator reports directly to the Management Board through the Chairperson. No wages preparation or meeting minutes are required. Our systems are increasingly technology based so strong IT skills are required. Previous experience within the Citizens Advice Bureau and knowledge of our CabNet system would be a bonus, however experience with Not for Profit organisations or a willingness to complete training to become an accredited volunteer would be great.
