Office Administrator Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ location Wellington.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a part time Office Administrator to ensure a smooth delivery of day-to-day administration and operations of the Foundation.

About us The Asthma and Respiratory Foundation NZ is New Zealand’s not-for-profit sector authority on all respiratory conditions including asthma, bronchiectasis, childhood bronchiolitis, childhood pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We develop and support respiratory health best practice through partnering, research, training and education, and advocate for the New Zealand respiratory community.

About the role the purpose of the Office Administrator role is to provide support to the Chief Executive and the wider team with a diverse range of activities. The key focus of this role is to ensure the processes that support the team are highly efficient, effective and organised, and that there is a capable and willing pair of hands available to support various team activity as the need arises.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following assisting the Chief Executive with day-to-day tasks. Being the first point of contact for all enquiries whether via phone or email. Maintaining a presentable office space. Assisting in preparation for Board meetings. Managing our online print resource shop. Supporting with booking and managing our asthma in schools education programme.

Supporting the Comms/Marketing team with activity such as website content updates. Assisting with writing community grant applications. Updating key documentation such as Health and Safety manuals and Standard Operating Procedures. Please note that this is a part-time role (9-3pm, 5 days/week), 27.5 hours per week based in our office on Thorndon Quay, Wellington.
