Office Administrator 6am Recruitment location Auckland. Salary $45,000 - $49,999.
Customer service, purchasing offshore, shipping, reconciling payments and invoicing all this and lots more. Be the ‘go to’ person for all that is relevant to the customer. What you’ll bring you’ll be the guru in all areas of customer service, shipping and invoicing. Your attention to detail and accuracy is what sets you apart from the rest. While this is a role where you’ll need to concentrate, think clearly about each and every step and make logical decisions, the amount of work each day will not stress you as it is very manageable.
You are the type of person, while you want to know what you’re doing, you’re not afraid to ask questions as you know if you get it wrong, mistakes are not only costly, but will take a lot of effort to untangle.
What your day will look like working typically in a sole charge role (the owner is on the road selling 3 days a week and the others in the business work in different areas), take pride in your work and delight customers with your positive manner, your efficiency and regular communication, including immediately confirming all orders back to the client in writing, whether received by email or phone.
Accurately reconcile debtor and creditor payments, place purchase orders with local and overseas suppliers, produce invoices in multi- currencies and check, check, check. Think about the orders you are processing and clarify information with the client and/or business owner to minimize errors. Take ownership of all that you are doing and look to be the best you can be.
And your experience and talents an office background rich in exceeding customer expectations. Strong and personable phone and email communications skills. Import/export or shipping industry experience would be a plus. Efficiency working with numbers, including accounts, purchasing, multi-currency calculations and reconciliations.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of information. Experience working with Accredo software is desirable, however expertise with other accounting packages will also count.
