We are seeking an experienced Finance Controller to oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting, finance, and tax functions across multiple entities within the group. This pivotal role will involve leading a finance team, ensuring compliance with statutory audit, tax, and legal requirements, and working closely with external auditors and tax agents.

Key responsibilities comprehensive financial management across all entities within the group. Preparation of financial forecasts, including business unit commercial P&L and cash flows for business planning and performance reviews. Leading the preparation of budgets and cash flow forecasting reports.
Assisting in strategic planning for projects, investments, and capital. Managing cash flow projections to optimise payment and collection schedules, including leading weekly payment run schedules with Directors and the CFO. Overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of ledgers with the support of the Finance Team.
Ensuring timely completion of BAS and PAYG lodgements. Liaising with corporate tax accountants to submit yearly regulatory returns and refine the group's tax structure. Preparing and maintaining accurate financial feasibilities for property development, negotiating development funding, and handling the commercial aspects of the role.
Leading HR functions related to contracts, payroll, and superannuation payments. Communicating with stakeholders regarding project funding, claims, and development updates. Partnering with construction and project development teams to track budgets and feasibilities. Reviewing and approving settlement Statement of Adjustments. Coaching and mentoring a team of accountants.
What do you need must have Property development OR Construction industry experience. CA/CPA Qualified. Exceptional relationship building skills. EstateMaster and/or financial modeling experience highly desirable. High level business partnering and complex negotiating abilities.
Ability to work in a fast paced and aggressive environment. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Driven, dynamic and ambitious with a hands-on work ethic. Personality that thrives on collaboration and teamwork. Strong communication and relationship management skills. High attention to detail.
