They have a rare opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join their team - overseeing 2 team members and reporting directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities lead and guide a dynamic Finance Support Team known for its exceptional performance and expertise, consistently delivering timely and effective finance services and assistance to senior management, project leaders, and staff. Oversee and manage all financial operations of the Group, including banking, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures while fostering their continuous improvement.

Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and punctuality of financial reporting, ensuring compliance with current Accounting Standards and Regulatory Requirements, and proactively preparing for upcoming regulatory changes. Generate essential financial project review reports to evaluate project profitability and enhance future budgeting and financial management practices.

Develop and periodically update company overhead budgets for thorough review, facilitating precise project cost budgeting. Provide invaluable support to the CFO and Directors in driving the Group's objectives and initiatives forward.

Experience required minimum 10 years work experience in a Finance/Accounting role including several with managerial experience; construction industry experience highly regarded. Strong technical understanding of current accounting standards, regulations and practices; underpinned by educational and practical experience.

Demonstrated use of ERPs/large accounting software packages (eg Procore). Skilled and experienced in managing finance-related projects. High level of attention to detail but knowing when to deep-dive or oversee. Motivated to achieve both individual and team goals. CA or CPA qualified.
