The role reporting into the cfo, you will lead and manage the accounting team, ensuring best practice and play a key role the business growth. Duties will include broad accounting responsibilities such as partner local and australasian management team, providing financial analysis to drive decision making, provide support for cfo and senior stakeholders, maintain and develop policies, guidelines and reporting, statutory and tax reporting requirements, consolidation of business unit results and preparing consolidated management accounts, statistical analysis for management and the board, preparing annual budget and regular forecasts, prepare various ad-hoc management reporting packs for presentation to senior stakeholders, drive business improvement processes, prepare ad-hoc analysis for the half yearly and yearly reports. The candidate to be considered for this position you will be a well-rounded finance professional with several years post cpa/ca qualification, along with current experience as a financial controller of a medium to large commercial business.  We are looking for a motivated and results orientated leader, who enjoys and is skilled at direct management of accounting staff – someone who can manage UP and DOWN successfully, an effective relationship builder.
