As a result of an internal restructure, TBH has an opportunity for a dynamic and agile Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day functions of the finance section.  The role is primarily responsible for the financial compliance activities for the TBH Group of companies and ensuring the integrity of financial results and finance control. Reporting to the Head of Finance and direct report for the finance team, responsibilities include managing books of account, including preparation of monthly management reports, reconciliations and dashboards, managing the process of all financial matters, managing all tax  and insurance matter, managing cash flow and treasury functions, managing external auditors, arranging finance for company assets, preparing annual company minutes and annual returns, preparing year-end financial statements for audit purposes, preparing various returns required by australian government departments. Qualifications / experience university degree in business, member of relevant professional body – cpa, ca or equivalent, minimum of 5 years’ unsupervised experience as a company accountant, experience managing and motivating a team, experience with ax (highly desirable), strong communication at all levels, close attention to details, personal attributes, ability to lead by example humble leadership, ability and preparedness to be hands on, personal accountability and self-management, creative and agile in solving emerging problems and respond to emerging issues.
