Driver Totara Hospice location Auckland. $23 – $24 per hour + employee insurance benefit.

The role pick up the truck from Tōtara Hub in The Gardens each morning. Liaise with the Retail Manager and the DC Manager to see what pick ups and drop offs are scheduled for the day. Liaise with the Donations Centre staff members to ensure that each shop receives the correct delivery from our Donations Centre.

Collect items from donors in the community who are unable to drop them to us themselves; provide excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for Tōtara Hospice. At TH, we work as a team. Sometimes you will be asked to lend a hand in the Donations Centre to ensure all doantions are sorted and boxed up quickly.

Benefits for you part time (32 hours per week), permanent paid rolem, Monday – Friday hours. 08.30 am to 3.30pm Mon-Thurs. 08.30am – 2.30pm on Fridays.

What we would like to see from you Full, clean NZ drivers’ licence – essential previous work experience in a similar role would be of benefit to you in this position but we are open to speaking with candidates wit varied backgrounds. This role does require someone who can lift heavier items such as boxed filled with clothing, some furniture items such as sofa’s, kitchen tables, beds, etc. Full NZ working rights.
