Total Turf Care was established in 1998 by Nic Hansen and is now the market leader within the turf sportsground construction industry within Tasmania.

Over the journey of 25 plus years, TTC has carried out all types of turf maintenance and construction works. Ranging from small jobs, right up to constructing multi-million dollar playing surfaces at high profile sites like Aurora Stadium (now UTAS Stadium), Blundstone Arena and the Twin Ovals at Kingston.

Our company works in all areas of the turf industry from Councils, state and private schools, commercial turf areas and golf courses.

Total Turf Care have many pieces of extremely specialised turf maintenance and construction plant and equipment within our company, allowing us to complete a diverse range of sports turf related works using the world’s best available specialised equipment.

About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a suitably qualified Truck Driver / Machinery Operator to join our team to work closely with our site staff in the day-to-day tasks associated with our business. We operate a prime mover machinery float, multiple tipper trucks, prime mover side-tipper plus numerous other truck tray units.

​Responsibilities

Equipment operation – truck, excavator, wheel loader, tractor

Loading and unloading of machinery for float work

Performing daily maintenance and safety checks

Ensure compliance related to work, health and safety policies and procedures

Cleaning the work environment and machinery equipment

Supporting team members as required

Essential Criteria, Skills, and Experience

Current and unrestricted Heavy combination driver’s license

Have a construction Induction Card (White Card)

Experience in truck float work & truck tippers

Experience in general machinery operation

General labour and construction maintenance work if required on occasion.

​Remuneration

$30-35/ph (based on qualifications and experience) + Super

Annual wage review

Regular overtime available
