What we are looking for we are currently inviting applications for a People & Culture Advisor to join our HR team who will help us empower our people to create a sustainable future to cover parental leave from July 2021 to May 2022.

About the role in this role you will be responsible for day to day HR operations and project work. Working alongside the operations management teams and site leads within the sector portfolios you will be supporting and influencing managers in relation to employment relations casework, daily operations and to optimise people performance and culture. A major piece of project work you will be involved will be related to the MBIE and as an expert in payroll & HR you will support this project to completion.

As our people ambassador on the ground you will develop meaningful relationships with employees, allowing you the opportunity to support them through the challenges of change and work towards developing a positive culture in a busy and exciting environment; assisting to imbed a culture that allows our employees to thrive.

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience as a HR professional, your prior experience in high volume employment & industrial relation environments, positively influencing union relationships, payroll and complex multi-stakeholder management will allow you to support the operations team by providing advice with employee engagement, varied ER and IR casework, and talent and succession management.

You will be passionate about people with high levels of influencing skills. As an independent advisor, your resilience will see you working through complex and dynamic environments within our business. Based in Auckland with some travel throughout New Zealand, you will need to be able to operate autonomously.
