Youth Development Administrator Role Youthline Auckland location Auckland.

To provide exceptional administrative support to ensure positive outcomes for Youth. To provide early intervention and follow up services and to work alongside youth workers, volunteers, and other staff to support young people and families to achieve positive outcomes.

To enable the cross-functional understanding of service data and administration to support an integrative wrap around approach to service delivery. About the role youthline is looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual who has a proven track record of strong administration skills.

You will work closely with a team of youth workers to effectively and efficiently support the delivery of contracts in the youth development space. Reporting to the Youth Development Manager, you will ideally be a professional with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

About you your key responsibilities will include oversight of administrative and reporting needs for youth development contracts. Monitoring performance and quality systems to ensure requirements of contracts are met.

Managing new client referrals in internal and external databases. Writing and maintaining handbooks/process documents for service delivery. Managing enquiries via phone, text, email and other digital platforms covering first point of contact support, Information provision, Programme information and Referral support.

Supporting the team with other youth engagement and early intervention tasks as required. Developing knowledge of community and government organisations, employers and training providers in your area to facilitate easy access for young people to Youthline and other services.

Other administrative tasks as required, including following up on payments, programme material, training schedules, HR requirements and room bookings. Skills and experience you will ideally have a minimum of 2 years administrative experience.

Be an effective listener and communicator and who has the ability to build strong positive relationships with young people and community stakeholders. Have knowledge, or are willing to learn about māori culture, protocols and peoples and apply kaupapa māori practice in your work.

Be comfortable having your practice viewed and are receptive in receiving and utilising regular feedback on your practice have experience in dealing with conflict resolution, relationship and behavioural issues.
