Team Member, Investigative Assistant Australian Federal Police location Melbourne. $55,600 - $64,598 per annum, plus 15.4% super.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified people who are interested in an appointment to the AFP. Investigative Assistants contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of operational area outcomes by undertaking a range of administrative, corporate, and operational activities.
Essential requirements, skills or experience members undertaking the Investigative Assistant role require the following skill-sets and capabilities strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels internally and externally. Efficient and effective time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise work tasks. Sound written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic operational environment. Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office applications. The ability to apply confidentiality, judgement and initiative. A strong understanding of the need for integrity, disclosure and mandatory reporting; and desirable requirements, skills or experience graduate legal studies and/or paralegal skills are highly regarded, but not essential.
Eligibility to be eligible you must be an Australian Citizen. This position requires the successful candidate to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance.
