Your new role
As Team Leader, leading a small team of Orange Door Practitioners in a matrix supervision model, you will support, develop, and mentor your team to deliver a high-quality referral service to people accessing the Orange Door for support. You will work collaboratively across an integrated service system to maintain positive and develop new relationships with partner organisations and key agencies.

In addition, you will focus on:

Contributing to the development and implementation of Orange Door strategic plans
Providing clinical practice supervision to ensure Practitioner compliance with governance frameworks
Managing resource allocations including case allocations, planning and reviews
Monitoring and management the group work budget

The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from Community Service organisations, Aboriginal Services, Family Safety Victoria and DFFH, to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:

Women, children, young people, and families who are experiencing or have experienced family violence
People who use violence
Families requiring support with the care, development and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people
Uniting focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children and young people.

Your skills and experience
Having worked in the child, youth, and family sector, you know the importance of a compassionate consumer centric approach to program delivery. You understand the dynamics of an intake service and consumer empowerment and find satisfaction in supporting and developing a high performing team.

You will bring:

Minimum Qualification Requirement
In line with Victorian Government requirements, applicants must hold a relevant degree qualification in Social Work or a related family violence discipline (AQF Level 7 or above).

Demonstrated success in a leadership function
The ability to develop existing or create new sustainable stakeholder relationships
Well-developed knowledge and understanding of family and parenting issues, particularly where protective concerns are present
Sound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005
Valid and current Driver’s License
