About the role
Elders Wycheproof is looking for a Retail Sales Representative to join our team on a Permanent, full-time basis.
Our Retail Sales Representatives are the first people our clients see when they interact with Elders. Your expert customer service skills & product knowledge will support the sales team in building relationships with clients. Our team members are provided with the tools necessary to take clients through the sales process, Elders supports you in learning and growing your career.
Responsibilities
Provide a high level of customer service & maintain existing client relationship.
Provide administrative support to the merchandise team (intermediate computer literacy)
Identify growth opportunities within the business to assist in achieving branch KPI’s
Support clients & Merchandise team in all areas of the sales process.
Build & maintain strong relationships with clients, supplier and key stakeholders.
Learning about farm plans & client recommendations
Lifting, picking and wrapping client orders (loading vehicles/unloading trucks)
Inventory management (weekly cycle counts), receivals and general orders.
Farm deliveries as required (trailer and small truck)
Create promotional and marketing materials for the branch to actively promote Elders.
Maximising promotional opportunities, including helping at field days and community events
Elders will provide all product knowledge training to the right candidate.
About you
You thrive in a small close-knit community
You enjoy working in a collaborative environment (with our team, growers & suppliers)
You offer an understanding of farm practices and/or rural products knowledge to support clients (or the willingness to learn)
Have a driver’s license.
A forklift license is preferred however we can support you to obtain one.
