About the Role
We are seeking applications from passionate Registered Nurses to join our casual bank to provide care across a range of Directorates including:

Care Communities
Sub Acute
Acute

Speciality areas for qualified staff:

Emergency Department
Intensive Care Unit / Critical Care Unit
Operating Suite
Special Care Nursery
Maternity
Paediatrics

To remain active on our casual bank, a minimum of 4 shifts per fortnight is required. Due to the nature of casual employment, candidates must be living in the Ballarat region.

Mandatory Application Requirements:

Upload a cover letter and resume
Upload a copy of any relevant postgraduate qualifications
Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability
Caring for a diverse range of patients and residents in varied care settings
Supporting patients and residents to achieve their individual health and wellbeing goals
Collaborate with Registered Nurses and Multidisciplinary Teams
Provide accurate and timely communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels within Grampians Health
Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
Ability and willingness to provide high quality, direct care within scope of practice
Participate in annual performance reviews
Promote a positive and inclusive care environment
Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

Skills & Experience

Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain if working in Aged Care
Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 - 2028. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $41.36 - $52.82 per hour.
