Office Assistant Private Advertiser location Taranaki.

We currently have a full time position available within our New Plymouth branch for an office assistant the responsibilities & skills of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to communicating, negotiating & continually building relationships with clients and suppliers. Assisting the Electrical Department with downloading tender documents and proof reading of documents.

Receiving of phone calls or service requests and passing on details to Department Supervisors. Providing “follow up calls” and maintenance service reminders to our clients. Excellent time management skills. Excellent Interpersonal skills. Works well in a team. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, and Experience with accounting packages would be an advantage. Maintaining debtor database. Assist tender department with quotes. Assist design department with drawings & specifications. Polite & good phone manner. Excellent verbal and written skills.

The Successful applicant will posses a high level of interpersonal skills, attention to detail and excellent computer skills. Position requires successful candidate to work a 42.5 hour week Monday to Friday 8 am to 5.00 pm with a half hour lunch break. All applications will be treated with the strictest confidence.
