Job description our client is looking for an Accounts / Office Administrator Assistant to join their small team based in East Tamaki, Auckland. This role involves assisting with various accounting tasks, including New Zealand and Australian accounts, along with general office administrative duties and customer and sales support.

Our client is seeking an all-rounder who is a team player, possesses a friendly personality, demonstrates strong work ethics, honesty, and, most importantly, the flexibility to address various challenges with a positive attitude.

Key responsibilities monthly PnL Reporting Prepare and maintain monthly profit and loss reports for New Zealand and consolidated accounts. Stock Analysis Reporting Monitor and report on stock levels and related financial data, aiding in inventory management decisions.

Cash Management Manage cash flow, including foreign exchange control where necessary, to ensure effective financial management. GST Returns and Reconciliations Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with New Zealand tax regulations.

Accounts Payable / Receivable Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking. Customer Service Support Provide customer support via phone and email, addressing inquiries and issues to maintain customer satisfaction.

Invoicing PM Servicing Job Sheets / Sales Generate invoices for services and sales, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers. Assisting with Sale Quotations / Processing Sales Assist in creating sales quotations and processing sales orders, collaborating with the sales team.

Filing / Archiving Organise and maintain records, both physical and digital, for regulatory compliance and easy information retrieval. Assisting with Year End Accounts Support year-end accounting processes, which may include audits and reconciliations.

Adaptability Be prepared to tackle a wide range of challenges in a dynamic business environment, including addressing customer tenders and meeting deadlines with a positive attitude. This position is immediately available and offers a variety of responsibilities that require a diverse skill set.
