Network Planning and Operations Co-ordinator January Group Limited location Auckland.
Our client is newly established bulk food distributor servicing a customer base throughout New Zealand. They are seeking a logistics planning and administration person who will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of the network.
Diverse role utilising organisational, planning and relationship skills. Day-to-day liaison with suppliers and customers. Opportunity to contribute to meeting the needs of New Zealanders. Reporting to the Network Operations Manager the Network Planning & Operations Co-ordinator is responsible for order management, product allocation and forward planning. They will also liaise on a day-to-day basis with suppliers to ensure compliance and resolve issues, and with customers to ensure their needs are being met and to assist them with resolving issues.
Candidates will have experience in a logistics co-ordinator role in a distribution centre, preferably in the food sector. They will be highly organised, have good analytical skills, and have excellent inter-personal skills. The successful candidate will have a genuine interest in providing a service that meets the needs of vulnerable New Zealanders.
Candidates should have the following attributes thorough understanding of order management and transport planning in a distribution operation. Excellent problem solving skills. An ability to deal effectively with multiple tasks. Robust analytical and planning experience including spreadsheet skills. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Customer focused. Relevant tertiary qualification preferred.
