Licensed Conveyancer SLF Lawyers location Sydney.

SLF Lawyers is a highly regarded national law firm is looking for a licensed conveyancer or an experienced property/commercial paralegal to join their growing Sydney office. This full time role will require you to work independently managing the conveyancing matters with appropriate supervision and mentoring as well as working part of the legal team to support the lawyers in various practice areas.

You will be required to work on standard residential purchaser and sales from start to end. Support your colleagues in debt recovery, including providing assistance and taking on new and existing debt recovery files. Act for vendors in distressed property sales. Act for purchaser and vendors in off the plan matters. Drafting commercial documents including mortgage documents, lease documents.

Drafting correspondence and various LPI documents. Arranging and attending settlement. Drafting standard court documents. Assisting on ad hoc legal tasks for the legal team. This role is for a 12 month maternity leave contract, with the possibility of becoming full time after the contract expires. The start date for this role will begin in September 2020. The role includes varied work in property and general commercial work with an opportunity to expand this practice and/or gain experience in other areas that the firm practices within. There is also opportunity to become involved in the marketing and growth of the practice through various internal and external activities.

To be considered for the role, applicants should have the following attributes at least 1 year experience in conveyancing. Some experience in other commercial areas is beneficial but not required. Be reliable and high attention to detail. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work independently and in a team involvement. Self motivated and strong work ethic.
