Elevation Capital – Investment Analyst – Public and Private Market Investments. Suited to analysts with a minimum 3+ years analytical experience (journalistic or historical research skills will not be excluded).

Elevation Capital Management Limited (Elevation Capital) is a licensed global fund manager based in Auckland that has both institutional and retail investors as clients. Elevation Capital was Morningstar International Fund Manager of the Year 2017 and is regularly featured in international publications for its research and stock ideas.
The opportunity elevation Capital is looking to expand its analytical team to assist with existing portfolios and new investment opportunities and products. This is an exciting opportunity to play a part in a broad investment program and investigate new investments.
As an Investment Analyst you will contribute to the research, analysis and ongoing assessment of the risk/return characteristics of existing and prospective investments across a wide range of asset classes. This is an initial 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.
Key Responsibilities include critically appraising equity investments across the globe. Supporting the selection and in-depth research of public and private market investments. Detailed analysis and presentation of investments. Maintaining an up-to-date view of market events and pricing in specific asset classes. Building and maintaining key investment analysis frameworks, models and tools.
Your background you will ideally have a background in Banking, Corporate Finance, Consulting, or Investment Banking. You'll have great modelling, valuation and investment analysis skills, and be able to manage multiple workstreams independently.
You will supplement these abilities with a strong attention to detail, exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate complex information to senior management, directors and external stakeholders. A strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and InDesign is also critical to this role – given our presentation requirements.
