The Role:
Bring your commercial analytics expertise and foodservice knowledge to drive performance across our multi-site airport foodservice portfolio. As Foodservice Commercial & Reporting Analyst, you will deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights by consolidating sales, margin, and operational data across all venues. Collaborating cross-functionally with Foodservice, Finance, Operations, and IT teams, you'll ensure data integrity and develop reporting frameworks that empower effective decision-making at leadership and store level.
This role is based in our Sydney Support Office (Sydney CBD) with hybrid working.
Salary: $83,000 + 12% super on offer!
What You’ll Do:
✅ Develop and maintain sales, margin, and performance dashboards using Power BI
✅ Analyse daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance across foodservice venues
✅ Ensure data accuracy and reconciliation across Business Central, EBX, TCPOS, and related reporting platforms
✅ Translate commercial and operational data into insights covering product mix, labour efficiency, wastage, and gross margin
✅ Investigate supplier pricing issues, invoice discrepancies, and system variances impacting commercial outcomes
✅ Partner with Foodservice, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to improve reporting, system integration, and data governance
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Experience working in a foodservice, hospitality, or high-volume retail environment
✅ Strong commercial reporting and business analytics experience in a multi-site context
✅ Advanced Power BI capability, including dashboard development and data modelling
✅ Strong Excel skills (e.g. Power Query, Pivot Tables, structured reporting)
✅ Hands-on working knowledge of ERP and POS systems, including Business Central, EBX, and TCPOS
✅ Strong understanding of foodservice commercial drivers and operational metrics
✅ Ability to translate complex technical and data concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
✅ High attention to detail with a disciplined approach to data quality and governance
✅ Tertiary qualification in ICT, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or equivalent experience
