What roles will you be facing demonstrating research through the creation of mood and story boards from current trends and customer analysis, considering functional and commercial elements as well as aesthetics, use skilled knowledge in garment production, as well as fabrication details, in order to formulate design concepts from research to production, produce sketches, illustrations, tech sheets and garment specifications to assist in our garment production, ensure our sample collection is organised and refined to the best and most fashionable trims and fabrics around, support the team with creative flare in producing eye-catching look-books and additional tools for showcasing our newest collections, keeping up with our design admin - maintaining order in our fashion archive or previous collections, samples and fabrics, confidence in presenting work, both visually and orally, with clients, management and sales team, strong problem solving skills - have confidence in your ability to negotiate in order to result in the best possible outcome, Ability to self manage and meet deadlines. Qualifications in Tertiary studies in Fashion Design or similar tertiary degree, 2+ years experience working as part of a creative team in a fashion led environment (desirable but not crucial), Experience and understanding of a retail environment, dealing with customers and high quality level of service, You will be super organised and able to efficiently manage the design admin load, A creative genius in all things adobe suite- In Design, Photoshop and Illustrator, An innovative, passionate individual looking for the opportunity to grow within the company, Eagerness to shine in a fast paced environment, with plenty of opportunity to expand your skill set.
