Extract and interpret market data from InfoServer and other market data sources.
Develop analytical models, dashboards and reporting that support trading and portfolio decisions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Energy Markets, Origination and Development to achieve commercial outcomes.
Required Skills and Competencies
We're looking for someone with outstanding analytical skills who is eager to further develop their commercial acumen and brings a proactive and curious mindset. You will also ideally have:
2–5 years' experience in energy markets, wholesale trading, power markets, commercial analysis or a related field.
Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with a demonstrated interest in building commercial expertise and supporting strategic market and pricing decisions.
Experience working with market databases and extracting spot market and pricing data (InfoServer experience highly regarded but not essential).
Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI or Python.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights clearly to a range of stakeholders.
A proactive, self-motivated approach and a desire to learn.
If you've worked for organisations such as renewable developers, generators, trading houses or energy market participants and understand how market data informs commercial decisions, we'd love to hear from you.
