Your new role
We currently have two vacancies at our Kindergarten in Berwick.

Certificate III Educator:

8am to 2:15pm, 5 days per week
57.5 hours per fortnight.
Diploma Qualified Educator:

Mondays and Thursdays, 8am to 4:30pm, plus a planning day
35 hours per fortnight.
As an Educator, you will be an active team member of a team that provides high quality early childhood education and care to children. This includes:

Developing strong relationships with children at the service
Assist with the implementation of a play-based learning environment responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities
Contribute to the planning and implementation of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interests of children
Developing strong relationships that support and partner with families, and the community
Complying with the Uniting Early Learning policies and procedures.

Your skills and experience
You'll be right at home at Uniting if you're passionate about providing high-quality early learning experiences and share our belief that children's safety, wellbeing and development should always come first.

You’ll bring with you:

A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority).
Prior experience working in a kindergarten and / or other early childhood service providing high-quality care and educational services for children.
A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
Current First Aid in an Education & Care Setting and CPR certificates.
Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based Child Safety Training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
