Our client is a New Zealand leader in the supply of a very wide range of raw materials and ingredients to supply a very wide range of markets across New Zealand. Whether it is preservatives for the food manufacturing industry, specialty chemicals, solvents, acids or polymers for the plastics industry, they have a huge product range which is sourced from all over the world.

On their behalf, we are seeking the services of dedicated and passionate Customer Service Representative to join their Mt Wellington based team. This is a pivotal position where you will be responsible for building lasting relationships with the company's clients…many of whom you will deal with on a regular basis.

You will be working to ensure customer service is first rate and the process of ordering and delivery is smooth. Some customer orders will be quite straight forward, but some could be quite complex, requiring more a particular ordering or delivery process to be followed. (i.e dangerous goods). They really need someone who is 100% customer focused and make sure they are REALLY looked after.

Of course, as well as processing orders you will also be providing an informative service, resolving customer's enquiries in regard to product pricing, availability, invoicing and credits.  You will also be the internal support to the external sales team and will escalate and technical product enquiries or other customer requests that need the attention of more specialized support.

To be successful in this role you will possess super Strong Customer service with confidence in managing client relationships. Able to handle complex customer orders. An understanding of logistics and imports/ export processes is a bonus. Excellent administration, PC skills, an ERP system experience (SAP experience).

Strong prioritising & time management skills. SUPER Committed to superior levels of customer service. You just want to get it right for them. Good problem solving and resolution skills. Very process driven, accuracy, attention to detail. Ability to manage a full, gutsy role with many variables. A great  positive team player and a definite sense of humour, ( Also important).
