Business Support Administrator Profitable Tradie location Waikato. $65,000 – $75,000 per year.

You’ll take on a key role in the business providing administrative support to the team and ensuring the smooth running of our office. Because of the varied, high-paced, and sensitive nature of this role, you’ll demonstrate excellent client-care skills, be able to develop meaningful & respectful relationships and be ready to commit.

Your tasks will involve client event management – organising our kick ass client events (live, hybrid & virtual). Team event management – organising Profitable Tradie team events (live & virtual). Team support – you’ll be our trouble shooter and problem solver and in general, be our go-to person.

Onboarding and offboarding of staff & contractors. Supplier and facilities management. Managing team travel & accommodation. Record keeping and maintenance of HR & administrative processes. Profitable Tradie Annual Calendar creation & management. General administration tasks such as managing stock levels and office support (phones, stationery, groceries, couriers, kitchen, etc). Special projects (e.g., reducing fixed costs, etc).

The key skills and attitudes you need to be successful be energetic, vibrant and make others laugh and smile. Be a competent computer user (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience with other programs like Facebook, Adobe, Google Drive would be a bonus). You’ll be an “integrator” who takes ownership to keep things running smoothly. It’s all go here.

Being a quick learner is a must. And of course, you’ll be honest. A positive outlook on life and being excited about improving your own and other peoples’ lives along with a true enthusiasm for learning. The ability to plan, make decisions and act using your own initiative. Accuracy with numbers and extreme attention to detail so tasks are completed to a high standard. Be systematic & consistent approach to your work. Be able to prioritise tasks and handle multiple demands on your time.
