This is a permanent opportunity located in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.

Accounts Receivable duties processing Sales invoices accurately and within expected time periods and checking all. Supporting documents in Septor and Navision. Monthly reconciliation of all customer accounts.

Liaise with sales team in order to obtain the substantive documents. Monitor customer credit balances and arrange credit insurance in advance. Provide accounts receivable collection forecast for monthly cash forecast.

Banking / General Ledger responsibilities setting up bank payments such as sales commission and interbank fund transfers. Preparation of daily bank reconciliations, follow up unidentified receipts / payments for allocation. Reconciliation of all customers related balance sheet accounts including and not limited to customer deposits, deferred revenues.

Assist with GST reconciliations and BAS lodgment. Providing back up to AP officer, payroll and assisting the senior accountant/ head of finance with other duties as required.

Skills excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Good knowledge of computer skills in a Microsoft Windows Environment. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Exposure to Microsoft NAV or similar ERPs (an advantage). Aptitude for mathematics and numeracy. Demonstrated ability to work independently and also to work collaboratively within a team. Takes the initiative in assigned work activities to improve.
