Join Our Team as a Trades Assistant

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working with a passionate and collaborative team? We are seeking a motivated and talented Trades Assistant to join the Building Services Team at QIMR Berghofer.

In this role you will be responsible for carrying out various job tasks as well as assisting tradespeople during daily maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities include:

Undertake minor building repair/installation works.
Maintain lighting in QIMR’s 3 buildings (limited to replacing lamps).

What we can offer:

This is a part-time (4 days per week; 0.8FTE) permanent position.

The position classification is Technical Officer level. The corresponding salary range is $62,201 to $71,184 FTE p.a. (pro-rata $49,760.08 to $56,947 p.a.) plus superannuation and generous salary packaging.
