About the opportunity
Join Bolton Clarke as an Asset Auditor and make a portfolio-wide impact across aged care and retirement communities. With flexibility to work from any of our support offices or site locations, you will travel across sites to work with modern asset management systems, influence maintenance and investment decisions, and help ensure critical assets are safe, compliant, and performing at their best.
Key activities
Conduct on-site audits of physical assets across aged care homes and retirement living communities, identifying, verifying, and capturing asset information.
Collect, standardise, and maintain accurate asset data, including specifications, manufacturer details, installation dates, and lifecycle information.
Perform condition assessments and asset criticality reviews to evaluate asset health, remaining useful life, risk exposure, and maintenance priorities.
Validate maintenance histories and ensure assets are correctly linked to preventative maintenance schedules within the myBuildings CMMS platform.
Provide audit findings and recommendations to improve asset data quality, maintenance practices, compliance, reporting, and long-term asset management outcomes.
About you
You are a detail-oriented asset management professional with experience auditing complex facilities, maintaining asset registers, and using CMMS platforms. You combine strong ISO 55001 knowledge, analytical skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities, with the flexibility to work across support offices and site locations while travelling regularly across aged care and retirement living sites.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Relevant qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline, and/or 5+ years' experience in asset management, engineering, facilities, or similar environments.
Proven experience conducting detailed asset audits, including physical asset verification, tagging, condition assessments, and structured data collection across complex facilities portfolios.
Strong knowledge of ISO 55001 asset management principles, asset lifecycle planning, risk-based decision-making, and asset register management.
Hands-on experience with CMMS or enterprise asset management systems (such as myBuildings, Maximo, or SAP PM), including asset hierarchies, maintenance plans, and work order history validation.
Demonstrated ability to analyse asset condition, estimate remaining useful life, assess asset criticality, and support maintenance and capital renewal planning.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance, asset management, and operational teams across multiple locations, coupled with a willingness to travel regularly.
