Company overview a renowned household name in the retail industry, currently experiencing an exhilarating phase of expansion. With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and skilled Accounts Payable Analyst to join their finance team.

Position overview as an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a pivotal role in the finance department, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. The role will be covering a new workload of responsibilities due to a transition of systems.

Responsibilities process and manage a high volume of accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure proper coding and authorization of invoices. Perform regular analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.

Assist in month-end closing activities and provide support for audits. Oversee the complete lifecycle of purchase orders, from creation to reconciliation. Ensure all purchase orders are accurately recorded and processed in a timely manner. Collaborate with procurement and other relevant departments to validate and confirm purchase requirements.

Qualifications proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the retail sector. Proficient in using OCR systems, Microsoft Dynamics. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
