The opportunity we have a vacancy for a part-time star administrator 20-30 hours per week.  You will be providing administrative support to the exec and the team.  Your strong administration skills will ensure we have an organised approach with our community partners and in the office.

On any given day your tasks may be general office planning and coordination, travel bookings, ordering supplies, mail, maintaining databases, handling general enquiries. Organising meetings, booking venues, catering, preparing agendas/minutes, calendar management, communications. Assist team with updating website, social media and other networks. Maintain databases of contacts, networks and stakeholders. Coordinate PO’s, invoice collation for approvals. Arrange travel and accommodation for team members. Assist the team with transcriptions of meetings and interviews. Meet and greet guests. Maintain office equipment and supplies.

Key skill sets you will bring to this role relevant experience in office administration. Good computer & software skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SalesForce CRM and exposure to Canva (design). A great customer service ethic along with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail. Sound judgement and respect for confidentiality.

To be a success in this role you will have a desire to be a part of social change, in addition to the key skill requirements, you will be organised, methodical, a finisher/completer. Self-motivated, keen to learn. Helpful, team-player. Flexible, can handle ambiguity and change. Culturally competent – knowledge of te ao & te reo Māori and/or a language of a Pacific nation would be advantageous. Any language(s) other than English also an advantage.  Openness to different worldviews is essential.   Based in Anzac Avenue, this role may suit a university student.  All Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
