Engage young people with complex needs using creative, relational and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Develop proactive AOD risk management and withdrawal support plans to reduce substance-related harm.
Support young people to stabilise, reduce or cease harmful alcohol and drug use.
Provide secondary consultation, coaching and education to Residential Care staff.

Advocate for young people and coordinate referrals into specialist treatment and support services.
Promote best practice harm minimisation and recovery-oriented approaches across residential settings.

You will bring:

Experience providing AOD services to young people, adults and/or families.
Strong assessment, counselling and case planning skills.
Experience working with young people displaying challenging behaviours and complex trauma.
Knowledge of harm minimisation, relapse prevention and recovery-oriented practice.
Skills in motivational interviewing and client-centred engagement.
Confidence using creative and activity-based therapeutic approaches.
Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across systems.
A commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people.
