We are seeking a permanent full time Water and Wastewater Operator in St Lawrence. Reporting to the Treatment Plant Supervisor, the Water and Wastewater Operator position is responsible for the efficient and effective ‘hands-on’ day to day operation of Council’s water and wastewater treatment plants.

To be successful in this position, you will have Certificate III in Water Industry Operations (both water and wastewater disciplines would be advantageous). Construction Card. Demonstrated experience in the operation of water and wastewater treatment plants. Please note that it is a requirement that the successful candidate will be immunised against Hepatitis A and B, and Tetanus.

If you are successful in this position, we will give you salary $73,119.47 per annum, plus allowances. Subsidised Council housing: $80.00 per week. Tool of trade use vehicle. Nominally 38 hours per week. 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading. Up to 14% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement.
