About the role The Visual Arts Support Officer role provides administration and logistical assistance in the preparation and presentation of Operation Art and ARTEXPRESS exhibitions and workshops across NSW. The Visual Arts Support Officer participates as an active and effective member of the Arts, Sport and Initiatives team.

Your responsibilities will include working with all online enrolments for workshops and artwork entries managing database files and email inbox. Entry Level Finance. Administration including filing of important documents such as permission forms. Physical mailing, picking up and dropping off artworks. Attending various locations in NSW for events.

About you great communication skills both written and oral. Flexible to work around school’s timelines. Must be able to work well in a team. An interest or passion for art.

Essential requirements of the role hold a valid clearance to work with Children (Working with Children Check). Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Key knowledge and experience knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
