Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic red trucks to deliver for customers? As our Heavy Rigid & Fork Truck Driver in our friendly Winnellie Mail Centre, you’ll be the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!
This is a permanent full time opportunity.
You’ll be
Safely loading your truck with cages for delivery
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
About you
You’re friendly, enthusiastic and reliable, and love autonomy just as much as interacting with others and being a team player. You’re passionate about making a difference in the community.
You’ll also need to
Hold a relevant heavy rigid vehicle license and forklift licence
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 120kgs or less
Be fit enough to load and unload parcels of all different shapes, sizes and weights
Be prepared to undergo a HR Driving Assessment, pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.
