A Day in the Life
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to join our Australia Acute Care and Monitoring sales team to be based on the Sunshine Coast to cover the Sunshine Coast, Redcliff, Caboolture and Bundaberg Region, as well as Brisbane. In this role, you will be driving sales growth and market share to key Anaesthesiology department and clinical staff within your territory. Our Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) business works together with the global healthcare community to solve clinically meaningful problems, with technologies and solutions for blood oxygen management, respiratory compromise and perioperative complications.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Promote and sell Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets

Be responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders.

Be responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services

Promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services

Conduct market research including customers and competitors’ activities

Implement market development plans/strategies and changes as needed

Required Knowledge and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales within the medical devices or healthcare industry

Proven sales experience selling capital equipment &/or consumables into hospitals is preferred

Solid understanding of the public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres is desired

Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders

Strong problem-solving skills

Highly organised with good time management skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities

Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results

Has an active driver’s license and own vehicle
