Job Summary:

To support our team through the EOFY reporting period, we are searching for two Tax Statement Specialist to assist the Technical Compliance Team in collating and inputting annual distribution tax statement information into the Class application, as well as supporting other investment related projects.

This role is a 6-month full-time FTC contract, offering flexible work between home and 2 days per week in our Sydney CBD office.
Responsibilities:

Liaise with various providers to obtain required end of financial year tax statement information.

Analyse tax statements data for accuracy,completeness and convert them into tax statement ratios.

Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, address inquiries, and provide updates on tax statements processing.

Provide weekly reports on the progress of the tax statement project.

Conduct thorough quality checks on tax statements processing to identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.

Maintain organised records and documentation related to tax statement preparation, ensuring compliance with record-keeping requirements and effective internal controls.

Use JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Zendesk and other tools to improve documentation and build knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

A formal degree qualification in the discipline of Accounting, Finance or Information Technology.

Knowledge of Australian taxation and superannuation standards (ideally, you're already working in an accounting practice in the Business Services area).

Intermediate MS Excel skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Strong attention to details and accuracy.
