Our ISS Health Team is growing and we are currently seeking people to join us in the position of Support Service Attendant/Ward Support/Orderly at Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Woodville South.

This Part Time role is required on a Saturday and Sunday 1900 to 0306.

Support Services Attendants:

The Support Service Attendant (SSA) is a multi discipline role encompassing performing the following duties;

Patient Movement and Co-ordination Service
Transporting patients across the hospital site as directed
Assist with transportation of medical equipment
Collection and delivery of records and documentation
Assist with transportation of equipment across the site
Follow all infection prevention protocols
Adhere to correct manual handling procedures and WHS practices

Minimum Criteria:

Available to work Saturday night 1900 to Sunday morning, 0306 AND Sunday night 1900 to Monday morning 0306.
Willingness to gain or provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, and Diptheria as per SA Health policy
Flexibility to work a rotational roster; including early mornings, night shifts, weekends and public holidays
Current Police Clearance no older than 12 months, or the ability to obtain (Essential)
Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain (Essential)
Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
