Support Officer Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment location Auckland.

Support regional and central functions across a busy Branch. Help us to ensure we have safe and fair workplaces. Varied and interesting work in a fast paced regulatory environment. Contribute to the Covid-19 recovery. Auckland CBD based, 12 month fixed term position.

As our Support Officer, you will support the operations of the Early Resolution and Labour Inspectorate Teams as well as the wider Employment Service Branch. You will provide overall Branch administration and support services. You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, such as acting as a first point of contact for the office (for visitors and general phone calls), taking minutes, travel booking and coordinating Official Information Act requests.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate Strong administration skills with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your work. A can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail. Energy and a can-do, positive, proactive attitude. Ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships. Experience working in a Government, regulatory or other complex environment would be advantageous. Must have legal right to live and work in NZ.
