About the role an exciting opportunity has come about for a Support Officer to provide high calibre support at a regional and national level to contribute to the operations of the Tenancy Compliance and Investigations Team. This is a great opportunity to develop further skills and learn about MBIE's role within the tenancy regulatory environment.

You will be providing support in administrative systems and processes to ensure these systems and processes are applied in a nationally consistent way. You will be forward thinking and able to build an understanding of the business group. You will maintain effective internal and external relationships and be able to collaborate with a wide variety of people and groups.

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, flexible and agile with a positive, proactive approach to their work ensuring tasks are completed to a high level of detail. You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, such as case file preparation, being the first point of contact for the office, record keeping, taking minutes and travel booking.

Skills and Experience required able to provide administrative support to managers and teams. Demonstrated agility in managing multiple priorities. Knowledge of administration systems and processes. A great attitude and strong customer service ethic. Sound relationship management and interpersonal skills.

The ability to compile data off MBIE systems and gather open source information. Competence in Microsoft Office applications. Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand. An ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve team and MBIE outcomes.
