About the role an exciting opportunity has come about for a Support Officer to provide high calibre support for the Immigration and Compliance branch, contributing to the successful day to the operations of the Compliance and Investigations Team. This is a great opportunity to develop further skills and learn about MBIE's role within a regulatory environment.

You will be providing support in administrative systems and processes to ensure these systems and processes are applied in a nationally consistent way. You will be forward thinking and able to build an understanding of the business group. You will maintain effective internal and external relationships and be able to collaborate with a wide variety of people and groups.

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, flexible and agile with a positive, proactive approach to their work ensuring tasks are completed to a high level of detail.

You will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, such as creating cases in the TIKA system, keeping information flowing across the branch to ensure frontline functions receive information in a timely and accurate manner.

Skills and Experience required demonstrated agility in managing multiple priorities. Knowledge of administration systems and processes. A great attitude and strong customer service ethic. Sound relationship management and interpersonal skills.

Ability to pick up and manage data entry systems. Competence in Microsoft Office applications. Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand. An ability to work effectively in a team environment and to prioritise work to achieve team and MBIE outcomes.
