Are you a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with a passion for supply chain coordination. Midlands Apiaries is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Ashburton.
About the role as a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Sales & Operations team by ensuring the efficient manufacturing and supply of materials for our honey production. You’ll manage bill of materials, production scheduling, and inventory control while working closely with suppliers and internal teams to maintain smooth operations.
Key responsibilities coordinate production scheduling alongside the Production Manager to meet 6-week lead times in line with LEAN principles. Manage inventory levels in 3PL warehouses and ensure timely stock replenishments.
Work closely with suppliers to maintain a ‘just in time’ supply of materials such as jars, lids, and labels. Liaise with the sales team to ensure seamless allocation and dispatch of finished goods. Monitor and review retail branded SKUs and OEM stock performance to provide recommendations on stock levels and SKU deletions.
Assist with monthly stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records. Process production batch information and input stock invoices into accounting systems. Ensure stock control processes are followed to optimise inventory turnover.
What You Need to succeed the ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong planning, organising, and time management skills. A results-driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction. High proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and numerical accuracy.
A flexible, problem-solving approach to work with the ability to work autonomously. A tertiary qualification in business or supply chain management (preferred but not essential). Experience in sales or supply chain management is beneficial but not essential—we value a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
