This Position reports to:

Supply Chain Manager

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is: Onsite/Hybrid

This role is contributing to the ELSE in Sydney/Moorebank Australia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Executing purchasing, inventory and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets, meet current and future business requirements.

Develop strong relationships with all customers, suppliers and stakeholders

Liaising with clients and factory to arrange and ensure the delivery of parts and equipment in timely manner

Utilize business ERP systems and processes to optimize operations effectiveness including monitoring and analyzing to drive business performance as well as identifying opportunities for improvement.

Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Qualifications for the role

You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Suppliers and Logistics Companies within the Service market

You have 2 years of similar experience in Account Handling / Supply Chain Activities.

Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in SAP/Salesforce

You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail

Proactive and highly organized with strong attention to details and quality work

Timeliness and ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;

Customer focus attitude

Proven experience of Accounts handling/ Vendor management
