ACCIONA Mechanical & Electrical is a specialist division within ACCIONA, delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical design, construction, installation and commissioning services that support the transition to a low-carbon future.
Position
As Supervisor, Stringing, you’ll lead the safe and efficient delivery of high-voltage transmission line works on projects. This role is central to the day-to-day coordination of construction activities, ensuring quality, safety, and productivity across multiple work fronts. You’ll work closely with superintendents, project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site teams to maintain momentum and resolve challenges as they arise.
Your leadership will help shape a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing site culture — one that reflects Acciona’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and people-first delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Optimise construction processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks
Demonstrate expertise in resolving conflicts that may arise among workers or work teams on the construction site
Address issues promptly, impartially, and constructively, facilitating dialogue and finding mutually acceptable solutions
Leverage extensive experience and expertise to make informed decisions under pressure, effectively managing unexpected challenges while maintaining project timelines and budgets
Identify potential consequences of non-compliance, such as project delays, financial penalties, or reputational damage, and implements risk mitigation strategies to prevent adverse outcomes
Manage risks associated with unforeseen challenges by implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies
Identify potential consequences, assess their likelihood and severity, and take pre-emptive measures to minimise their impact on project outcome
Required Skills and Competencies
Electrical License (current and valid)
Cert IV in construction supervision desirable
Familiarity with ISO standards and Australian electrical infrastructure regulations
Proven experience in transmission line construction, ideally in HV environments
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset
Ability to manage multiple work fronts and adapt to dynamic site conditions
Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental best practices
Familiarity with outage planning and stringing operations (desirable)
