Specialist Australian Institute of Sport location ACT. Salary $80,000 - $125,000.
The Australian Institute of Sport are seeking an Athlete Wellbeing & Engagement (AW&E) Performance Pathway Specialist to fill a contractor role for 12 months (plus a 4-month extension pending project performance). The contract position will have dual reporting requirements to two AIS staff members: the Performance Pathway Consultant (Sport Strategy & Investment) and the Wellbeing and Engagement Manager (People Development & Wellbeing).
The contractor will be expected to deliver across a range of areas including (but not limited to): the development of a learning and development framework (content, delivery & enabling strategies) for emerging categorised athletes, development of strategies to ensuring all emerging athletes have access to a baseline education as well as delivering education modules to emerging athletes through various delivery modalities.
To be successful within this contractor position you will require tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in wellbeing, community engagement, performance pathways and/or talent identification, sports management and/or sport science. 5+yrs working in high performance sport, wellbeing and engagement program and/or talent development.
Experience with the implementation of face-to-face and digital learning management systems. Demonstrated success engaging with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Demonstrated experience in managing and delivering projects on tight timelines. Demonstrated high level organisation skills and attention to detail.
