About the Role
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide clinical leadership and support to Bolton Clarke’s Physiotherapy team within Home & Community Support. You will deliver home-based physiotherapy services while collaborating closely with the Physiotherapy Team Leader to monitor and enhance service quality. You will supervise staff, drive quality improvement initiatives, and ensure a multi-disciplinary approach that prioritises consumer-centered therapy and positive customer outcomes.
This position will be fixed term until March 2027 with the possibility of extension, covering Wynnum, Thornlands, Wellington Point and surrounding regions.
Responsibilities include:
Provides clinical supervision to region-based team members, promotes an integrated and customer-centred approach to care while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and standards.
Participates in staff onboarding and training activities, identifies learning needs through regular supervision, and implements appropriate training strategies in consultation with the Physiotherapy Team Leader.
Leads quality and service improvement initiatives to enhance physiotherapy practices, ensures effective clinical outcomes, and promotes educational and professional development opportunities for team members.
Delivers high-quality physiotherapy assessments and interventions within primary health care, incorporating a holistic approach that prioritises health promotion and customer goals in a confidential and culturally safe manner.
About You
To be successful in this role, our preferred candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree required, Physiotherapy, Healthcare, Nursing is preferred. Any other healthcare-related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
Moderate experience as a Physiotherapist is preferred.
Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration, Australian Physiotherapy Council accreditation is prescribed.
Proficient in Physiotherapy Assessment, Quality Improvement, Treatment Planning, Customer Service Management, Legal & Regulatory Compliance and Patient Case Management skills.
Excellent customer experience, cross-functional team working, planning and prioritisation, and communication skills.
