As our Senior Manager – Process & Controls (Internal Audit), you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and managing internal audit engagements to ensure the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. This role is based in Brisbane, Australia.

Lead and manage internal audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management and the Audit Committee.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
Ensure compliance with internal audit standards and relevant regulations.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Manage budgets and oversee the team delivering Internal Audit.
Engage with clients and manage client relationships effectively.

What we’re looking for

Extensive experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
Professional services experience is desired, otherwise experience in working with a large complex multi-facet organisation.
Experience in managing senior executive level stakeholders.
Ability to manage budgets and oversee the team delivering Internal Audit.
Experience in a client-facing role.
Ideally, you’ll also have:

Experience in a Big Four firm or a large multifaceted organization.
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in internal audit.
Strong project management skills.
Experience in enterprise risk management.
Experience of presenting to the Audit & Risk Committee.
